William Tuegel enjoys cooking challenging recipes to share with his friends, plunking through Final Fantasy songs on the piano, and dragging anybody who is willing to live-action escape the room games. His favorite game genre is survival horror, but he makes it a point to explore in all genres across casual, indie, and core games and will talk your ear off about them.

William is a game designer and producer currently living in Orlando, FL. Most recently he graduated with a M.S. in Interactive Entertainment from the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy of UCF, Ranked #2 by the Princeton Review for best video game design programs for graduate students in 2017. During his time at FIEA, he worked as the lead designer on his student thesis project, HIT, and co-founded Shifty Chair Games, which went on to successfully Kickstart and publish HIT on Steam Greenlight.
Prior to earning his degree, William worked in Quality Assurance for Activision on Call of Duty: Black Ops II, giving him an understanding of polishing a triple-A title for release and working within a team to efficiently test a product.
His undergraduate degree in Film Studies from Emory University sparked his interest in digital media. His study of editing, screenwriting, and film history has helped develop an eye for detail and an audience-centered approach to design.
William has also earned his ScrumMaster certification, enabling him to better participate in, contribute to, and lead teams in agile development.
In his spare time, he works with the board of the Mead Family Foundation, whose focus is strengthening families, as well as education and crisis prevention for youth.
